As a Motion Graphics Designer, you’ll take ownership of and elevate our digital assets, including the Bison app, landing pages, and marketing materials. You’ll collaborate closely with the Marketing and Product teams to create engaging animations and videos for various channels. Additionally, you’ll design UI animations, micro-interactions, and reusable motion components to enhance and maintain our design system.

Your Tasks

Create Engaging Motion Content: Design and produce high-quality animations, videos, and motion content for social media, advertising, and promotional materials that enhance the brand’s presence.
Enhance User Experience with Motion: Develop smooth UI animations, micro-interactions, and motion concepts (including storyboards) to make the app intuitive and engaging.
Build a Scalable Motion Design System: Design reusable motion assets to ensure consistency across the design system, while maintaining brand identity and adhering to corporate guidelines.
Manage Projects: Independently prioritize, organize, and track animation projects, assets, templates, and design materials to streamline workflows.
Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, and Communications) to integrate motion into the brand; stay updated on motion trends and tools (e.g., Rive); support design tasks during the graphic designer’s absence.

What You Bring to the Table

Education: Degree in Design, Motion Graphics, Media Production, or a related field.
Experience & Skills: several years of experience in motion design with a strong portfolio (motion graphics, UI animation, video editing).
Technical Skills: Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, with experience in expressions, motion templates, and tools like Lottie or similar.
Creative & Technical Expertise: Strong sense of composition, color, typography, and animation timing. Experience with 3D design or Rive for advanced motion projects is an advantage.
Mindset & Collaboration: Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to high-quality work; strong team player with excellent communication skills and a focus on refining processes and bringing fresh ideas.
Language Skills: Fluent in German and English.
