As Director of Finance, Risk & Operations, you will play an active role in shaping the core areas of Seturion and BX Digital from the outset. You will work closely with the CEO and the management teams in Stuttgart and Zurich and be responsible for the financial, operational and regulatory stability of the company. In doing so, you will act as an important key figure with a great deal of creative freedom, responsibility and perspective.

 

Your tasks

 

  • Business Operations: Definition, implementation and continuous optimisation of efficient business processes and integration of new processes into the existing structures of the Boerse Stuttgart Group. You will also be responsible for day-to-day business – in particular the operation of the services provided to the market by Seturion.
  • Outsourcing Management: Control and monitoring of external service providers as well as the creation, review and management of outsourcing contracts to ensure smooth processes.
  • Finance: Responsibility for financial and liquidity planning, budgeting and reporting in cooperation with group functions. You will coordinate internal and external audits, develop business cases and provide support for M&A projects.
  • Risk: Development and implementation of the risk strategy in coordination with group functions.
    To this end, you will carry out risk inventories and analyses, create risk profiles, derive appropriate control measures and implement them together with the relevant stakeholders.
    You will also be responsible for business continuity management and contingency plans.

 

What you bring to the table

 

  • Professional experience: Relevant experience from a comparable position in the financial sector and a sound understanding of the regulatory requirements for financial service providers.
  • Technical and disciplinary expertise: Proven experience in managing financial and operational functions and confident dealings with supervisory authorities.
  • Personal skills: Entrepreneurial thinking, personal responsibility and decisiveness characterise your profile. You also have a strong interest in digital assets, blockchain technology and innovative capital market structures.
  • Language skills: Excellent communication skills in German and English, both spoken and written.
