Software Engineer (Backend) for Institutional Broker (gn)

As a Backend Software Engineer, you design, develop, and operate APIs and services that enable institutional trading workflows and reliable market connectivity. You work closely with product, architecture, and infrastructure teams to translate functional and regulatory requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. You ensure system reliability and code quality through clean coding practices, testing, code reviews, and continuous performance optimization.

This position allows for remote work, but we greatly value in-person team interaction. Therefore, we encourage regular attendance for key team votes, special events, and fostering team spirit.

Your Future Team
You will be part of the Institutional Broker team, which develops secure, low-latency backend infrastructure for bilateral trading of digital assets, prioritizing customization, high availability, and compliance for institutional clients.

Your Tasks

Agile Collaboration: Be part of an agile development team and work with a diverse range of stakeholders.
API & Microservice Development: Develop and maintain secure APIs and microservices.
Trading Protocols & Database Design: Implement trading protocols, design, manage, and optimize databases.
Secure & Compliant Code Quality: Adhere to industry security standards, write unit tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure secure, compliant, and maintainable code.

What You Bring to the Table

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in C# programming, knowledge of the .NET platform (.NET Core / .NET 5+ is an advantage).
Application Design: Experience in designing, coding, and testing new applications
Tech Knowledge: Good knowledge of microservice environments/distributed systems (Kubernetes, Docker), Linux, and relational databases
Cloud Skills: Basic proficiency with AWS
Version Control: Familiarity with Git
Interest: Interest in the fields of trading, investing, and wealth growth
Agile Mindset: Experience in agile software development
