As a Software Engineer (Backend) for Institutional Broker, you will contribute to building and maintaining backend systems that support bilateral trading of digital assets for institutional clients, such as banks, brokers, and asset managers. You will be part of the Institutional Broker team, which develops secure, low-latency backend infrastructure for bilateral trading of digital assets, prioritizing customization, high availability, and compliance for institutional clients. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will design scalable and reliable solutions, ensuring seamless integration with trading platforms and compliance with regulatory standards. This role is at the forefront of shaping the future of institutional trading in the digital asset space.

As a Software Engineer (gn), you work remotely. Regular in-person meetings with your team—such as workshops and special events—strengthen the team spirit with your colleagues. Hence, this position offers you a balanced mix of flexible remote work and personal interaction at our hub in Stuttgart.

Your Tasks

Team Collaboration: Be part of an agile development team and work with a wide range of stakeholders.
API Development: Develop and maintain secure APIs and microservices.
Database Management: Implement trading protocols, design, manage, and optimize databases.
Code Quality: Adhere to industry security standards, write unit tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure secure, compliant, and maintainable code.

What you bring to the Table

Programming Expertise: A minimum of 3 years of experience in C# programming, with knowledge of the .NET platform (.NET Core / .NET 5+ is an advantage).
Application Development: Experience in designing, coding, and testing new applications.
Technical Knowledge: Good knowledge of microservice environments and distributed systems (Kubernetes, Docker), Linux, and relational databases.
Cloud Skills: Basic proficiency with AWS
Version Control: Familiarity with Git.
Market Interest: An interest in trading, investing, and wealth growth.
Agile Experience: Experience in agile software development.
