Dr. Markus Röhrig

Dr. Markus Röhrig has been Chief Growth Officer of Boerse Stuttgart Group, Member of the Group Executive Committee and Managing Director of Boerse Stuttgart GmbH since April 2025. 

He is leading the sales, partnership and marketing activities of Boerse Stuttgart Group in the traditional capital markets business including the cats trading network, the exchanges in Sweden and Switzerland as well as commodities and data. He is responsible for coordinating the stock exchange and capital market business with the digital business. 

Prior to his role at Boerse Stuttgart Group, he had joined McKinsey in 2006 and was elected Partner in 2016. He held various leadership positions, including most recently co-leading McKinsey's European Corporate & Investment Banking Practice. He also co-founded the Capital Markets Infrastructure & Exchanges Practice. With his comprehensive expertise, he successfully implemented growth strategies of financial institutions and supported strategic transformation processes of European banks and exchange groups.
