The Baden-Wuerttembergische Wertpapierboerse comprises the stock exchange under public law in Stuttgart and its exchange operating company. The private-law exchange sponsor has an advisory board as a supervisory body.
The Exchange Council represents the users of the exchange – those who trade there or whose products are traded there. It also represents investors. The Exchange Council also appoints the management of the exchange and – based on the exchange management’s proposals – the management of the Trading Surveillance Office. The operating company Baden-Wuerttembergische Wertpapierboerse GmbH is a 100 % subsidiary of Vereinigung Baden-Wuerttembergische Wertpapierboerse e. V.
