Michael Görgens is a member of the Group Executive Committee (GEC) and, as Chief Executive Officer of Boerse Stuttgart cats GmbH, has been responsible for the over-the-counter trading network for structured securities in Europe since 2018. For two decades, he held management responsibility at EUWAX AG, where he contributed significantly to the establishment and strategic development of the fixed-income and ETF trading business divisions. He represented EUWAX AG as a long-standing member of the Exchange Council and the International Capital Market Association (ICMA). Prior to that, Görgens worked at Landesbank Berlin in the capital markets and issuing business and as a market maker for jumbo covered bonds (Jumbopfandbriefe) in interbank trading.

With 25 years of capital market experience, Michael Görgens brings extensive expertise in the areas of stock exchanges, trading and technology in relation to various asset classes. He holds an Executive MBA in New Business Development. His customer-centric approach, profound understanding, and extensive network in the European capital market distinguish him as a versatile strategist. He consistently fosters innovation and growth for both our clients and the group.
